Console Activation
- Sign in to your Xbox: Turn on your Xbox console and sign in to your Xbox account. If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create one.
- Open the Guide: Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
- Navigate to Store: In the guide, go to the "Home" tab and select the "Store" option.
- Choose 'Use a Code': In the Store, navigate to and select "Use a Code." This may be found under the "Browse" section.
- Enter the Key: When prompted, enter your 25-character code. You can either type it in manually or say it out loud if you have a Kinect sensor.
- Confirm Activation: After entering the code, follow any additional prompts to add the game or content to your account.
Browser Activation
- Open Web Browser: On your computer, open your preferred web browser.
- Go to Microsoft Redeem Page: Navigate to the Microsoft redeem page (redeem.microsoft.com).
- Sign In: Sign in with your Microsoft account credentials. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, you’ll need to create one.
- Enter the Code: Once logged in, you’ll find a field to enter your code. Type in your 25-character Xbox key.
- Confirm Redeem: After entering the key, click on “Next” or “Redeem” to confirm.
- Complete Activation: Follow any additional on-screen instructions to complete the activation process. The game or content will then be added to your Xbox account.
